Yahoo wants to lay off nearly half of its employees to move to mobile

The beautiful but firm Merrisa Mayer snake continues to shock when decided to leave about 8,000 employees of the Internet giants a while.
When she first came to power in July, Mayer said, "That is necessary. Wall Street expects that and our staff also expect that. "
Currently, Yahoo employs about 18,000 people and contracts with the company. Mrs. Mayer will not be massively fired. But she should be careful, as the gradual cuts will cause staff morale as they always feel "ever in their turn".

Yahoo's goal of reducing staff is to make room for mobile developers. Mayer wants half of the Yahoo developers to be mobile workers, as opposed to Yahoo's current status as a 'web development company.'
The move of Yahoo's staff shows that this Internet giants are really rolling sleeves into the hot mobile game. But now it's late for Yahoo, but with Mayer's mobile-friendly policies like free iPhone, hopefully the company will soon have a "change of life".
